Task 1. City Investigation

Key question: Should Cambodia build a new city, or would its people be better served by investing in existing cities??

Background

Cities are one of humanity's greatest inventions. They concentrate people, jobs, services and ideas in one place, allowing societies to become more productive and innovative.

However, cities also face significant challenges. Some grow rapidly and struggle to provide housing and infrastructure. Others decline as industries disappear and people move away.

The Government of Cambodia is considering developing a new planned city to support future population and economic growth. Before making this decision, they have asked your Urban Planning Consultancy to prepare a recommendation.

Your findings should be presented in the following format.
